Silver pendant Mother’s Day with dedication proof
The Mother’s Day is a widely recognized holiday on the occasion of which all children – disregarding their age – express love and thanks to their mothers. It is celebrated in various parts of the world on various days. In the Czech Republic, the holiday is observed on the second Sunday in May.

On the obverse side, author of the medal Zuzana Hubená depicted a mother in a decorative veil with a baby in her arms. A legend on the right side reads “Den matek“ (Mother’s Day).
The author of the reverse side, Majka Wichnerová, left a free space for personal dedication –in the shape of a scroll encircled with decorative leaves.
At the rim there are round beads, an old popular ornament reminding of a string of pearls.
