The free royal cities were the seats situated in historic Hungary, which had its own self-governing and legislative power, and thus represented islands of democracy in the then authoritarian feudal society. the first gold commemorative medal from the thematic cycle dedicated to the Slovak mining towns pays tribute Kremnica, which belonged among these residences.
